1966-1977 Bronco 23-Gallon EFI Stainless Steel Gas Tank. This little beauty is sure to turn heads. Our CNC cut 14G stainless steel tanks are built and welded right here in our shop. The only thing we do not build is the sending unit module. The other great thing about this tank is that it is convertible. If you decide you want to convert back to a carbureted system, no problem! All you have to do is detach the pump in the tank and you’re good to go. There is no need to buy a new tank.
$1,100.00 – $1,155.00Price range: $1,100.00 through $1,155.00
We use the 1999-2004 F-150 Pump/Sender Module. This pump has a flow rate of around 110 liters per hour (LPH) at 12 volts, with an operating pressure range between 15-90 PSI.
You can upgrade the pump to a Walbro 255 LPH pump or their 350 LPH pump which can operate at a higher PSI.
These gauges are known to work with our set up:
Dakota Digital – Programmable
Ford up to 1986 – 73-10 Ohms
Ford 1987 & up – 16-158 Ohms
If you are using Dakota Digital gauges or any other programable gauge, there is no need to select the 10-73 Ohm range conversion because they are programmable to work with most senders. For these types of gauges, the ohm range we use is 16-158 because that is what comes with the fuel pump/sender combo that we use. If you have questions, please reach out to us before ordering.
Yes. Our tanks are fully assembled and ready to go. You do not need to use glue or gaskets. We vacuum debris and pressure check every tank before we ship it to you.
Absolutely not. All our tanks are made with O-ring connections. No glue or cork gaskets here.
NO. Our modules are mounted with machined 1/4 – 20 stainless steel bungs and acorn nuts which means you don’t have any drilling to do and even more appealing, there are no metal chips that you have to vacuum out before you use it. AND NO LEAKS!
We use a 1 3/4″ filler neck with a barb fitting on our current tanks. Previous tanks were made with a 2″ filler neck.
The pressure line is 3/8″ and the return line is 5/16″.
We use 1/2″ NPT vent fittings. You can use any tube you want so long as it has the same fitting.
Dorman makes a fuel line repair hose that you can use. For 5/16”, the part # is 800-054. For 3/8”, the part # is 800-055 or if you want both, you can buy part # 800-063.
Yes, our tanks are internally baffled to minimize sloshing.
The adapter sits between the body of the truck and the tank so that when you mount the tank, it is in the correct location for the strap to work.
