What is a Dual Speed Compression (DSC) Adjuster
The Fox Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster for 2.5 Factory Series Series Smooth Body Shock is a great option for those who want to simplify tuning. Dial in low speed compression to prevent bottoming out over off-road obstacles like boulders, and dial in high speed compression to help you get more out of your suspension while you’re bombing down trails.
Why Remote Reservoir?
Remote reservoir smooth body shocks have a few advantages over emulsion shocks.
- Heat tolerance: The remote reservoir increases oil volume internally and in the reservoir which increases the heat capacity and the heat loss.
- Ride quality and durability: Remote reservoirs reduce the gas pressure increase as the shock collapses which reduces friction and improves the ride quality and durability of the shock. The separation between the oil and gas also provides more consistent damping.
