1966-1977 Bronco Beach Cruiser Interior Tube Support (PF358)
1966-1977 Bronco Beach Cruiser Interior Tube Support (PF358)
This early Bronco roll cage, like all our early Bronco roll bars, is made from 2" 0.120 wall tubing and is designed to ensure plenty of headroom while still fitting under the hard top. The B-Pillar butts up against the front of the fender well and the C-Pillar lands just before the tailgate.
Additionally, we took the diagonal support bar and laid it flat right at the body line so you don't see it when you're looking at the Bronco from the side. We also added a windshield brace system so when your top is off, you don't have to run some crazy contraption to keep your windshield up. This design is for the easy going and mild builds, hence, the Beach Cruiser.
It meets the bed of the truck at 4 of its strongest points to ensure strength and stability when you need it most. The B pillar foot pads meet the body just before the fender wells and the rear foot pads land just before the tailgate. The windshield braces serve a practical purpose by holding your windshield up while the hardtop is off but they do not serve a structural purpose in this interior tube support. To attach the windshield to the interior tube system, you need to drill and tap the tabs then drop a bolt through the tab and into the windshield frame.
Options
Tube Kit: Requires an experienced installer with metal working capabilities such as welding, cutting, coping and bending. It is a common occurrence to have to move the metal around when tack welding it together. Please tack weld everything before doing a final weld.
Welded: A completely welded product that arrives as unfinished raw-steel ready to test fit to your truck before applying paint or a powder coat finish.
Seat Belt Tabs
We do not recommend using bungs for your seat belts because when you drill into the legs, you weaken the integrity of the legs. It is best to use a weld on tab vs a bung.
