78-86 Broncos running a stock gauge would need to order the 10 (Full) – 73 (Empty) sending unit conversion.

87-96 Broncos running a stock gauge set up will need a 16 (Full) – 156 (Empty) sending unit set up.

So long as your gauges are programmed to match the sending unit range that you order your tank with, they will work cohesively. Some gauges, like Dakota Digital, are programable. If you have programable gauges, you can order the 16-158 set up which is less expensive (because we don’t have to modify the sending unit)

We use a 1 3/4″ filler neck with a barb fitting on our current tanks. Previous tanks were made with a 2″ filler neck.

The pressure line is 3/8″ and the return line is 5/16″.

Yes, there is one baffle in the tank.

We use 1/2″ NPT vent fittings. You can use any tube you want so long as it has the same fitting.

Absolutely not. All our tanks are made with O-ring connections. No glue or cork gaskets here.

Our pump can handle up to a 400 HP motor. If you have an OB1 or OB2 system, this is more than enough to handle your system. If you’re not running a stock engine and are pushing more than 400 HP, you might consider upgrading the pump to an Aeromotive set-up. They have varying configurations and can support up to 2000 HP with their highest performing configuration. See photos for HP information.

We use an OEM style 1999-2004 Ford F-150 (without Supercharger) fuel pump. This pump can handle up to 400 HP. If you have an OB1 or OB2 system, this is more than enough to handle your system.

If you’re not running a stock engine or are pushing more than 400 HP, you might consider upgrading the pump to either a Walbro 255lph or 350lph (which can be swapped out on the OEM set-up) or an Aeromotive set-up (which is a completely different configuration and will be cut differently to accommodate their design as well as a separate sending unit). They have varying configurations and can support up to 2000 HP with their highest performing configuration. See photos for Aeromotive pumps and their HP information.

This OEM style pump is capable of pushing 70 PSI. The PSI at the fuel rail for this stock system is 30 to 45 due to pressure regulators (The 99-04 trucks usually operate at 40 PSI and about 35 PSI in an idle, though this can vary with multiple variable components). This pump is good for motors producing up to 400 HP. If you are unsure if this pump is not enough for your EFI system, your BEST BET is to try the pump that we supply first (you don’t need to fill your tank completely full while testing it out.)

If you are having issues after you have tried the supplied pump, then you can try swapping out the in tank pump for a higher pressure pump like a Walbro 255lph or 350lph or adding an inline pump in addition to our pump. You just want to be careful because if you put a higher pressure pump in, and your system doesn’t need it, you risk burning the whole thing down.

Modern OEM style high pressure fittings with NO HOSE CLAMPS. They are push connect.

Dorman makes a fuel line repair hose that you can use. For 5/16”, the part # is 800-054. For 3/8”, the part # is 800-055 or if you want both, you can buy part # 800-063.

No. Our pumps are mounted with machined 1/4 – 20 stainless steel bungs and hardware which means there are no metal chips in our tanks from sheet metal screws.

Yes. Our tanks are fully welded and ready for fuel.

Yes! OE and aftermarket pieces are available. Dorman part # is 645-708 Ford OE part # is 1U2Z-14S411-BGA
