78-79 Bronco family cage. 6 points of contact to the floor. Family hoop for rear passenger protection. Offered in welded or kit form. Ships as raw steel via truck freight.

Fabrication required: The front half of this cage ships as a kit and will need to be assembled inside the truck. This is due to the cage not being able to fit into the truck as an entirely welded product.

KIT FORM: Requires an experienced installer with metal working capabilities such as welding, cutting, coping and bending. It is a common occurrence to have to move the metal around when welding it together. Please tack weld everything before doing a final weld.

Grab Bar / Dash Bar

Add a Grab Bar to your cage. It will come loose even if you ordered a welded cage because the front portion is something you have to set up inside the Bronco.

Harness Bar

Add a harness bar to your cage to make it easy to install a belt system. This will come loose even if you ordered a welded cage so that you can place it in the best location for your seats. A Harness bar is a straight bar that gets welded to the B-Pillar. Split Harness bar is two bent pieces that go behind each seat and connect to a bar at the bottom of the cage.

The 78-79 Bronco Family Cage is the only cage you need to keep all your passengers safe. This bad boy has 6 points of contact to the strongest points of your floor along with the rear family hoop which boxes in the back half of the cage making it stronger and safer for you and all your precious cargo. This cage is made from 2″ 0.120 wall tubing and is designed to ensure plenty of headroom and to provide the security and safety that is always first priority on any of our products. As with all of our cage products, this is designed to fit under the stock hard top and will also work with a Softopper Soft Top.
